In the past week, five Darien residents had their vehicles — all of them unlocked — stolen sometime overnight, and a total of 11 town residents found their vehicles had been entered after they were left unlocked, police said.
Going on vacation this summer? If so, how are you getting there? Car. Train. Plane. I’m eliminating the bus option because, well, life is too short to endure that kind of misery. I have no problems with commuting by bus, but a 10-hour ride is not going to happen.

When a car was stopped by a police officer who saw there was no front license plate on it, a passenger wanted on an arrest warrant was taken into custody, and a search of the car found cocaine, so both the arrested man and the driver were charged with drug possession, police said.
