That’s the number of old smoke alarms sent off for recycling since the collection bin was established in March of this year.
Smoke alarms contain minute amounts of radioactivity and should not be thrown in household trash or put in with single stream recycling.
Look for this bright yellow collection bin in the transfer station building!
