A woman told police that a wallet was taken from her purse sometime in the final days of July while she was at a home on Goodwives River Road.
Then charges totaling $289.63 were made to her debit card, the woman told police. The wallet contained her driver’s license, the debit card, gift cards and her checkbook.
She last opened her wallet to write a check on Wednesday, July 29 at 4 p.m. She reported the wallet stolen at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 31.
