The Shop says it is “Darien’s most unique dining experience,” with a menu crafted by Chef Peter Crawford using the highest quality meat, poultry, fish and in-season vegetables. The evening is valued at $1,500.

Down on the Farm Darien Nature Center 2019Back by popular demand, master craftsman Roger Wiemer has donated a handmade lemonade stand with a retail value of $500. Darien mom Michelle McNulty won the stand at a previous Nature Center event and said her family is looking forward to using it again now that the weather has finally warmed up.

“My kids are so excited and I love the idea of them learning to be little entrepreneurs,” McNulty said, “We are definitely going to attract neighborhood attention with such a legitimate sales stand!”

Local artist Edgar Breban’s hand-carved whale sculpture is also a raffle prize again this year due to its popularity. It’s valued at $400. This one-of-a-kind marble creation can be used as both indoor and outdoor décor.

Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the Nature Center, as well as outside Aux Delices in the Goodwives Shopping Center, 25 Old Kings Hwy. North, this Saturday morning, April 27.
