A $15 fee is required to recycle freon appliances (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, humidifiers) at the Darien Recycling Center.
Drop-off is to the right, just past the gate. Other large appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, ovens) are recycled with scrap metal — no fee.
