Harry Montford Buckingham, age 93, of Mystic, formerly of Old Saybrook, Stratford, and Darien, passed away on Sept. 12, 2016 at Mystic.

Harry was born Jan. 9, 1923 in Oakland, Calif., the son of the late Alfred Oliver Buckingham, Sr. and Doris Rogers Buckingham.
Harry was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Maralyn Cron Buckingham and two sons, William Rogers Buckingham II and John Kenneth Buckingham.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia B. Kurlansky, and her husband Steven Kurlansky of Lyme, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 48 Grand St. in Niantic. Funeral Services will be held on Monday (September 19, 2016) at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Darien.
