The club house at Middlesex Club on Echo Drive North was broken into sometime overnight between Wednesday, June 29 and Thursday, June 30, but nothing was found to have been stolen.

At 7:30 that Thursday morning, the front door of the building had been broken open. Police were called at 7:45 a.m. The door had been last seen undamaged at about 7:30 p.m. the night before.

Inside, nothing appeared to be missing. No cash is kept in the clubhouse — only tennis related equipment, as well as some office items, all of which were still present.

Some wood fragments and the stroker plate for the door’s lock were on the floor inside. Two pillows were found on the floor, otherwise nothing appeared to be out of place.
