DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

On the last weekend before the DMV’s extensions end for expired registrations (end of day Tuesday, Oct. 13), DMV offices are closed (from 12:30 p.m., Friday to 7:45 a.m. Tuesday). AAA offices, which perform some DMV functions, are open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but they’re also closed on Columbus Day.

TRANSPORTATION

Buses and trains will run as normal on Monday, without changes.

FRIDAY, Oct. 9

Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles closes early, at 12:30 p.m., reopens at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. AAA offices are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and they provide some services for the DMV.

SATURDAY, Oct. 10

Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles is closed until 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. AAA offices are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and they provide some services for the DMV.

SUNDAY, Oct. 11

  • No changes.
  • AAA offices are NOT open on Sundays.

MONDAY, COLUMBUS DAY, Oct. 12

  • Infinity Fitness: Darien Team Training will be held at: 6 a.m. / 8:30 a.m./ 9:30 a.m./ 10:30 a.m. — “If you have any Private Sessions scheduled that day be sure to check with your trainer to confirm your appointment!”
