The first-place winner of Nielsen’s Florist‘s “Bras for a Cause” bra-decorating contest is Cindy Morabito, with her “Breast Cancer Succ’s” creation, the store announced.

The event raised “just over $3,000” which will hep treatment and detection of breast cancer, the store announced.

Morabito won a pair of JetBlue tickets. Her win was based on voting conducted by contributors to the Paint the Town Pink program to help people with breast cancer.

The second-place winner was Doreen Godfrey, with her “Screw Breast Cancer” bra, selected by First Selectman Jayme Stevenson. She wins a $250 Nielsen’s gift certificate and a makeover by Andrew Stefanou Salon & Spa.

Nielsen’s previously announced that “proceeds from this fundraising event go to Paint the Town Pink, a fundraising initiative that supports important work in the treatment of and early detection of Breast Cancer for uninsured/underinsured women.”

On Sept. 30, Nielsen’s hosted a party for the contest where contributors were able to see the dozens of decorated bras. Voting continued after that on the store’s website.

Runners up, based on votes, were Christine Leddy and Roberta Widmayer. Here are pictures of each of the winning brassieres:
