Most Recent Health Inspection Reports for Darien Food-Serving Establishments

These inspection reports for Darien food-serving establishments were just released by Darien Health Department. Health inspectors are busy with some other, nonfood-related inspections, so fewer food inspections were done this week. The 3 inspections took place between May 29 and 30. Keep in mind that a food-serving establishment with a history of good ratings may occasionally get a poor inspection rating, occasionally the best do, and every restaurant normally gets a few things wrong. Nine Darien schools, restaurants and other food-serving establishments each received A ratings in the latest reports of health inspections released by Darien Health Department. One received a “B” rating. The 10 inspections took place between May 13 and 20. Keep in mind that a food-serving establishment with a history of good ratings may occasionally get a poor inspection rating, occasionally the best do, and every restaurant normally gets a few things wrong. Six Darien food-serving establishments each received an “A” — the best rating in the town’s A-B-C health inspection ratings system, and two others got a “B” in the nine most recent reports released Thursday by Darien Health Department. None of the inspections resulted in the worst rating — “C” — for any of the establishments. The eight inspections took place between April 24 and May 2. Keep in mind that a food-serving establishment with a history of good ratings may occasionally get a poor inspection rating, occasionally the best do, and every restaurant normally gets a few things wrong. Three Darien restaurants each received an “A” — the best rating in the town’s A-B-C health inspection ratings system, and six others received a “B” in the nine most recent reports released Thursday by Darien Health Department. None of the inspections resulted in the worst rating — “C” — for any of the establishments. The seven inspections took place between April 10 and 22. Nine Darien Food-Serving Establishments Rated in Latest Health Inspection Reports

The latest health inspection reports released Thursday by Darien Health Department were for inspectors’ visits to food-serving establishments from March 13 to 20. Nine establishments in town were inspected. Three of the nine establishments inspected received a rating of “A.” The rest each received a “B.” None received a “C” — the worst in the town’s A-B-C ratings system.

Worst Rating, ‘C,’ for One Darien Restaurant in Latest Health Inspection Reports

A rating of “C,” the worst in the town’s A-B-C ratings system, went to one town restaurant in the nine food health inspection reports released Thursday by Darien Health Department. The most recent batch of reports are from inspections that took place from  March 8  and 11, except for one dated Feb. 8 (Darien Seafood Market). Seven of the nine establishments inspected received a rating of “A.” One more received a “B.”

One Darien Restaurant Gets Second ‘C’ Rating in a Row in Latest Health Inspection Reports

For the second time in almost two weeks, one Darien restaurant received a rating of “C,” — the worst in the town’s A-B-C ratings system —  in the eight food health inspection reports released Thursday by Darien Health Department. The most recent batch of reports are from inspections that took place from Feb. 20 to March 4. Four of the establishments inspected received a rating of “A.” Three others received a “B.”
