Exxon Gas Station/Convenience Store Property Sold in $1.5 Million Deal

The property at 1358 Post Road where the Exxon gas station and convenience store is located has been sold in a $1.5 million deal. On Aug. 25, Kane Boston Post Road LLC, with an address at 382 New Britain Ave., Hartford, sold the property for $1,260,000, along with property at 132 Old Kings Hwy. S. (which is somewhere behind the gas station, perhaps abutting it), for $240,000. The buyer —Convenience Gas of Darien Inc. — transferred the property the same day to a business name, “Realty of Darien LLC” at the same address.

Post Road Commercial Property Sells for $2.85 Million

A commercial tract with two buildings along the Post Road, across the street from Spring Grove Cemetery was sold this month for $2.85 million. The property at 1540-1574 Post Road was sold July 16 by Post Partners LLC of 220 Atlantic St., Suite 600, Stamford to an entity called 1540-1574 Boston Post Road Realty LLC, with an address at a home on Raymond Street in Darien. The sale was filed in the Town Clerk’s Office the same day. According to a listing on Loopnet.com, 1540 Post Road is an 8,5,86-square-foot office building, and 1574 Post Road is a 4,540-square-foot commercial building which has housed a Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes Inc. (one of that company’s 80 locations) since 2005. David Lerner Associates previously had a location on the first floor of the 1540 Post Road building but is no longer there.
