The property at 1358 Post Road where the Exxon gas station and convenience store is located has been sold in a $1.5 million deal.

On Aug. 25, Kane Boston Post Road LLC, with an address at 382 New Britain Ave., Hartford, sold the property for $1,260,000, along with property at 132 Old Kings Hwy. S. (which is somewhere behind the gas station, perhaps abutting it), for $240,000.
The buyer —Convenience Gas of Darien Inc. — transferred the property the same day to a business name, “Realty of Darien LLC” at the same address. No tax was paid on the second transaction.
The gas station/convenience store, located next door to the Garden Center of Darien and across the street from Nielsen’s Florist & Garden Shop, has a distinctive wooden statue of a bear in front.
