At about 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, police received a call about the incident. The victim told police he had been driving toward the exit when the suspect, later identified as Saul Aguilar-Nuricumbo (also known as Saul Aguilar) of Fairfield Avenue in Norwalk, jumped in front of the man’s vehicle. The man told police he rolled down his window to tell Aguilar to be careful, and then Aguilar walked up to the driver’s window, told him he was infected with COVID-19 and spat on him. The man then pushed Aguilar “out of his car window and away from him,” police said, and asked a Ring’s End employee to call police.
