Jeffrey W. Mucciolo of White Plains passed away suddenly on Aug. 31 in Clermont, FL.

A 27-year-old man was allowed to stay with the mother of his two children on Allen O’Neill Drive, but when he was told to leave, he managed to find his way back into the home, and then called police to protect him from being evicted “without due process,” he said, according to the police account.
Police had a different idea about how due process would work in this situation.
Thomas L. Hagopian, 59, of Darien died peacefully at home on Monday, Aug. 27, following a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.
While the mother of his two children had them in her arms, a 35-year-old Darien father punched those arms, making the argument between the parents physical, according to Darien police, who arrested the man.
Police said the woman was not injured by the punching.

A 28-year-old Darien man told town police he did send threatening texts that had been passed on to authorities, but he said he was drunk at the time and wasn’t serious.
Police evidently were: They not only arrested him, but set the bond at $100,000, which the man didn’t pay. His court date is Tuesday (today). The man spent the long weekend in jail.

Lanes will be closed at spots in Greenwich, Stamford and Darien on Interstate 95 for three nights this week, Tuesday through Thursday, for bridge inspections and maintenance work, the state Department of Transportation announced.
