Ten years ago, Darien NEAT, an artisan coffee bar and roasting company, opened its Darien location on Grove Street Plaza, and this Saturday, Aug. 31, it’s celebrating with drink specials and giveaway chances all day, then a party from 6 to 8 p.m.
“Thank you to our NEAT family and wonderful customers for 10 years of success.” the coffee shop said in a brief announcement. “We would not be here without you!”

In its newsletter on Tuesday, the Darien Chamber of Commerce described NEAT as a business that helped foster a sense of community in Darien:
“NEAT quickly became part of the Darien fabric and created it’s own community within our community!
