More work on the Merritt Parkway will close exit and entrance ramps at night in Greenwich and Stamford from Exits 31 to 35, the department announced.

That work, affecting ramps for traffic going in both directions on the highway, was expected to start Monday night and continue through Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. The reason for these closures: repaving the ramps.

And finally, more on- and off-ramp repaving on the Merritt is scheduled to take place at Exits 34 and 35 in Stamford on Wednesday, July 27, and the following night, Thursday, July 28, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

On Wednesday, July 20, more bridge inspection work will close lanes further east on the Merritt Parkway, between exits 41 and 40A in Westport and Norwalk, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the department.
