Andy Bramante, a high school science teacher, will talk about what’s behind his students’ success and how he motivates them to peak performance on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Darien Men’s Association. The meeting is open to the public.

Andy Bramante, a Greenwich High School teacher, will speak Wednesday morning.

More than 30 of his students won First Place, Best of Category or Grand Prize awards at Intel Science and Engineering Fairs over the past 10 years.

At the recent International Google Science Fair, two students were semifinalists.

The design of a low-cost portable test for ebola won the Grand Prize for one student, who received a scholarship of $50,000.

Last year, six students were named Regeneron Science Talent Scholars. Two won a $100,000 scholarship.

Andy was an engineer and scientist in industry for 18 years before joining Greenwich High School in 2005.

His talk starts at 10:45 a.m. and is open to the public. Darien Men’s Association meetings are held at the Darien Community Association, 274 Middlesex Road, Darien.

Guest passes are available at the membership desk just outside the meeting room.
