We are contacting those affected, and any rescheduling information will be posted when it becomes available. At this time, all other DCA activities will run/operate as scheduled, including our DCA Thrift Shop.”

Darien Historical Society: “In order to help prevent the spread of corona virus, public programs are cancelled until further notice.”

Darien Library has been closed, it was announced Wednesday night, March 11, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Darien Men’s Association: “DMA Wednesday meetings are canceled until further notice due to COVID-19.  Smaller group activities may still be on.  Check with the activity leader.”

Darien Nature Center: “We will be closed effective March 12 due to COVID-19 and the building will be cleaned and disinfected. Please check back here and on social media for updates.”

Darien Police fingerprinting and child safety seat installation services: “[E]ffective immediately,” the department announced Wednesday, “the Darien Police Department has suspended its civilian fingerprinting (non-criminal) and child safety seat installation services due to the COVID-19 threat. We will resume these services as soon as possible and work with residents at that time by adding extra days/hours to clear any backlog as quickly as we can.”

Darien Public Schools will be closed for 14 days, starting at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 12 until Thursday, March 26, when they are expected to reopen.

The Depot Youth Center: “The Depot Youth Center will be closed effective March 12 to March 26, in response to COVID-19; the Depot, as always, follows the Darien District’s school closings schedule. Staff will be at the Depot taking care of daily administrative work. Please stay healthy!”
