Two students from Darien High School were recently honored at the 2019 High School Arts Awards Banquet for their outstanding accomplishments in the fine and performing arts.
Justin Mossa (visual arts) and Evelyn Sload (music/performing arts) represented Darien High School and were the recipients of awards given at the April 2 event.

Over 160 high schools from throughout Connecticut were represented at the 24th Annual Arts Awards banquet with over 1,300 people in attendance at the event, held at the Aqua-Turf Club in Plantsville.
The event, organized by the Connecticut Association of Schools, was sponsored by Jostens, Horace Mann Insurance, Fox 61 and the Connecticut National Guard. Congratulations to our well-deserved recipients!
