Twitter and other social media platforms are used as ways to influence government decisions all the time, too often with snark, insults, swearing and nasty comments.
This is a totally different kind of story of one man’s success in getting results here on Darien.
Everyone was polite (which didn’t stop the man from communicating his frustration and concern), and the town’s a bit better off as a result — and Tokeneke children who cross the street by the school appear to be a bit safer, along with anyone else trying to cross the street there.
