At 1:45 a.m. on Monday, July 18, a police officer on patrol spotted three teenagers together on the Post Road and stopped to see what they were doing.
They were playing Pokémon Go.
Two of the boys are 13 years old; the other, 14. All are Darien residents.
The police officer contacted their parents, and the boys went back to the home of one of the youths, where they were staying overnight.
Darien police have issued safety tips for Pokémon Go players.
