Music in the Stacks, Darien Library’s signature concert series, continues as we welcome renowned classical guitarist Carlos Pavan at 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16 in the Louise Parker Berry Community Room. Refreshments will be served. With striking music and great originality, Argentinian-born Carlos Pavan is part of a new wave of modern classical guitar composers. He was born in Argentina and has been living in Brooklyn since 2000.

Contemporary & Classical Jazz with the Uri Shaham Project

Join us in the Louise Parker Berry Community Room Sunday, July 17 at 5 p.m. for an evening of contemporary and classical jazz with the Uri Shaham Project. The Uri Shaham Project is a New York/Connecticut based 9-piece jazz and funk group. They will perform well known jazz classics of some of the greatest composers in history: Chick Corea, Bobby Timmons, and Joe Zawinul. Listen to their music here. Refreshments will be served.
