Darien Library is proud to present Susan Reilly Salgado, founding partner of Hospitality Quotient, in its first annual Louise Parker Berry Lecture at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4. Launched in 2010 by Susan and restaurateur Danny Meyer, Hospitality Quotient helps organizations all over the world improve their hospitality and service in order to improve the bottom line. Susan will speak on the importance of hospitality in running a successful business, discuss the crucial link between happy employees and happy customers, and talk about how treating your customers like guests does more than make them feel good—it also improves the performance of your business. The Louise Parker Berry Lecture series honors Darien Library’s longest-serving director, who led the Darien Library from 1979-2014, and created a culture of extreme customer service which brought the Library to national prominence.
