The story of the legendary Puerto Rican baseball player and humanitarian Roberto Clemente comes to life in a bilingual musical. Young Bobby and his friends discover a secret—they have super powers! Witness Clemente’s leadership and courage in the face of adversity, all set to great music and complete with dance numbers, animations and puppetry. Ages K and up

Join Boogie Chillun’ on a musical journey through the rich history of the United States.  Each song will be given a brief introduction describing the song itself, the artist, and its contribution to American music. Boogie Chillun’ will encourage students to keep music alive through sing-alongs and interactive playing. Ages K and up

Using plenty of props and famous works of art as examples, the author of Summer Reading pick Why’d They Wear That?! will share the lighter side of fashion and history as she explains why people wore some of those crazy clothes. You’ll get the inside scoop on what people wore (or didn’t wear) for underwear, deadly dyes, kids in corsets, how knights used the bathroom, and more–and you’ll never be bored at a museum again! Ages 8 and up
