The desire for intimacy doesn’t vanish with age. Many people want and need to be close to others as they grow older. But, with aging, there may be changes. Sexuality is often a delicate balance of emotional and physical issues. Melody will be presenting a program covering how normal aging brings about these changes and how many older couples can find even greater satisfaction than they did when they were younger. As you age, there will be periods of both joy and stress. It’s important to build your resilience and find healthy ways to cope with challenges. This ability will help you make the most of the good times and keep your perspective when times are tough. A key ingredient in the recipe for healthy aging is the continuing ability to find meaning and joy in life. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Born in New York City in 1904, Margaret Bourke-White was a noted photographer of the 20th Century. With work recording life during the Great Depression, she went on to become America’s first female war photo-journalist, the first foreign photographer to record Soviet industry and the first female photographer for LIFE magazine.
