Sheilah Tilbrooke Cloud of Darien died on May 2 at Stamford Hospital.
ObitBorn in London, she was the daughter of Harold Ernest Tilbrooke and Margaret Chisholm Tilbrooke. She attended schools in England during World War II.

After the death of her father, she and her mother emigrated to the United States. She graduated from Noroton Sacred Heart School in Darien and later attended business school in England.

Before her marriage, Mrs. Cloud worked for the United Nations in London and the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations in Rome. She later worked in Programming for the CBS Television Network in New York City. After her marriage Mrs. Cloud was associated with Conoco Oil Company in Stamford.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Church in Darien and a eucharistic minister. She was also a member of the Wee Burn Country Club, and had sung with the Blue Notes singing group for 35 years.

She is predeceased by her husband James H. Cloud and survived by a stepson, John K. Cloud and a stepdaughter, Catharine LeVasseur; six grandchildren and a nephew, Michael Tilbrooke and numerous cousins in Australia.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Church at 12:30 p.m., Saturday May 14.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Thomas More Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien, CT 06820 or Sacred Heart Alumnae, 1 East 91st New York, NY 10128.

After the service, a reception will be held at the Wee Burn Country Club.
