‘TIS THE SEASON when packages begin to pile up on the doorstep — many of them containing packing peanuts, foam, bubblewrap, tissue or air packs.
All of these materials can be recycled in single stream; however, most can also easily be reused by you or someone else.
The UPS Store at 25 Old Kings Highway North in Darien [at Goodwives Shopping Center], for example, accepts bubblewrap, packing peanuts, paper and tissue for reuse. What an easy way to work a little extra “green” into your holiday season!
