A 51-year-old Brookside Road man called someone in violation of a court’s no-contact order and was arrested Saturday, Darien police said.
Police provided this further account, including accusations not proven in court:
Police were contacted and shown proof of a call made from the man’s cell phone. When police talked to the man, he said he did make the call, but said it had been accidental.
He was arrested on a charge of violating a restraining order, a felony, and released on a $1,000 bond. He appeared in state Superior Court in Stamford on Monday, April 26, and is next scheduled to appear June 8.
