“It’s my honor to welcome Patriot Bank to Darien. After meeting with the Patriot team I understand how Patriot Bank’s mission as a community bank extends far beyond a traditional banking relationship by supporting local non-profit organizations – particularly those organizations dedicated to the needs of our children.  It ‘takes a village’ to care for our families, friends and neighbors,” said First Selectman Stevenson.

“The expansion of Patriot Bank reflects the growth and attention to small business in Connecticut and the desire of public and private sector partners to provide the services and products to satisfy their needs,” said Ms. Gold.

The Darien banking center design intends to create an experience for customers. The open floor plan features brightly lit space with an open teller line and customer service bar. There are two 24-hour drive-up ATMs in addition to one in the vestibule.

The full-service branch is the first to offer a community event center with teleconferencing capabilities available for customer use, as well as digital signage in the lobby that spotlights local non-profits, small businesses and community networking events.

“Patriot Bank’s new concept banking is rooted in growing and supporting local communities. Darien is a vibrant town with a significant economic impact supported by local business. We are delighted that Darien will be the first with Patriot’s new look,” said Susan Neilson, EVP & COO of Patriot Bank.
