A 25-year-old woman arrested in 2010 on an accusation she passed a $100 counterfeit bill at Walgreens in Darien, then charged with felony-level failure to appear in court in 2013, recently turned herself in to Darien Police.

The Darien Library’s ninth annual Fundraising Gala — the Secret Garden Gala — was held on Saturday, June 3, and was a fantastic night enjoyed by all. Thank you to everyone in the community who came out to support the Library and its services to our town.
The phrase “the sky’s the limit” took on a whole new meaning for Darien High School’s Class of 2017 as the graduation ceremony got a little wet under a gray sky that threatened rain on Friday.
