A very tame, champaign-colored ferret found on West Avenue near the Stamford border on Sept. 21 has not been claimed by an owner, but it’s found a home anyway, police said.
A woman who formerly owned one has agreed to adopt it, police said. She has all the requisite ferret equipment, “and was thrilled to be able to adopt it,” a police spokesman said.
