If you’re the owner of this champagne-colored ferret, Darien police want to give it back to you. The very tame, possibly female creature was found on West Avenue near the Stamford border Wednesday morning, Darien police announced. A black cat named Wrecker, 14 years old, is reported missing since Saturday from the area of Glenbrook Road and Arthur Place about a quarter of a mile from Darien. Please call the owner if he crosses your path and you can return him — it could be your lucky day, since there’s a reward.
