She has previously worked as a teaching assistant at the Bush-Holly House in Greenwich and the Silvermine Art Guild in New Canaan.
In Evans’ cartooning class, students will design their own characters and learn to use one-panel cartoons and three-panel comic strips.
Television storyboards and caricature will be included and students will study facial expressions and body language.
Evans emphasizes individual instruction and utilizes dynamic on-the-spot demonstrations in her class. The fee for the class is $280, plus an annual $35 registration fee.
