At 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, a man parked his 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee in a parking lot at Noroton Heights Railroad Station, with the key in the vehicle, which was unlocked.
The inevitable happened at about 7:45 p.m., when the man, returning from work on the train, found that the Jeep was no longer where it had been parked. At 8:05 p.m., he reported the matter to police.
