The Darien Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is currently collecting items to be sent to our troops via the organization Operation Care Package. A collection box for these items will be on the first floor of Darien Library — BUT ONLY UNTIL THIS MONDAY, MARCH 6!
This box is where your donation goes. It\’s right by the front desk in Darien Library. But only to March 6.
Here’s a list of sought-after items:
- Protein Bars
- Beef Jerky, Slim Jims
- Dried fruit, fruit snacks
- Ziplock bags— Gallon, Sandwich, Snack and Quart Sizes
- Pre-sweetened powdered Kool-Aid, Gatorade, Lemonade
- Small travel shampoos, conditioners, lotion, soap
