I served with George for many years on the Board of Education. All of us on the board benefitted enormously from the thoroughness of his preparation, his incisive thinking and precise questioning.
His calm and rational demeanor combines with a brilliant wit and gentle sense of humor to enable the most fraught situations to be defused quickly.
George is the quintessential consensus builder. The Planning and Zoning Commission will be an excellent body with George Reilly as a member, and Darien can have confidence that the important decisions rendered by the commission will be fair and just.
