Parking passes on sale through Friday (or until they run out) at Town Hall for Darien’s 2018 fireworks display, which takes place Saturday, July 7, at Darien High School, where gates open at 6:30 p.m.
You’ll need a parking pass if you want to park on the high school campus.
Get Your Parking Pass, Then Get There
All pedestrians can enter for free. It’s also free to park outside the high school campus.
Parking passes will not be sold at the event. You need to get them beforehand. They’ll be available up till Friday, unless they run out.
Passes cost $30 per vehicle and can be bought with cash or checks at the First Selectman’s office on the second floor of Town Hall.
Town Hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but get there early enough in the day, so you don’t keep employees late, and early enough in the week, so you don’t find out too late that the tickets have run out. If you’ve got any questions, you can call 203-656-7338.
Checks can be made out to: The Darien Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation (memo Fireworks).
If you’re parking on campus, enter only from Noroton Avenue. Other streets will be closed for entry to the high school campus. A handicap parking permit is required to park in a handicap parking space.
