After leaving his car unlocked and running as he ran into a gas station, the driver came back out to see his 2008 Honda running with someone else driving it out of the parking lot and onto Interstate 95, Darien police were told.
The victim reported the theft to police at 10:53 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, presumably from the Mobil gas station at 211 Post Road, where the incident happened.
The Accord was found the next day in New Haven.
