A bicycle locked with a cable to a bike rack at the Noroton Heights Railroad Station was reported stolen on Monday, Aug. 8.

Darien police were told that the bike was stolen sometime between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., when its owner returned to find it missing, along with the cable and lock. The Diamondback mountain bike is valued at $800.
The owner arrived at Police Headquarters on Hecker Avenue at 5:57 p.m. to report the theft. Detectives are investigating the report and looking over video surveillance records from the train station.
