Meet Mikayla, who won “the Tokeneke Bear,” a big black stuffed bear from the Community Fund of Darien. Mikayla guessed the correct number of gumballs in a jar at the organization’s tent downtown during the Sidwalk Sale and Family Fun Days last Thursday through Saturday.
The stuffed animal seems to be about three times her size. The eight-year-old was worried the bear was in the sun, we were told.
The actual count of gumballs was 563. She guessed 565.
