The Darien Nature Center is hosting “Small Tidings,” an art exhibit with more than 130 works from 11 local artists, each with their own unique style ranging from natural landscapes to abstract imagery. With holiday giving in mind, all works are priced at $250 and under.

“The artists have created a beautiful variety of offerings for this show — there is truly something for everyone,” said Nature Center Executive Director Leila Wetmore. “New collectors will find pieces to start a collection and others will want to build their existing ones. Come with your holiday gift list and get ready to find something unique for the special people in your life.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of the artists who are donating 30 percent of all sales back to the Darien Nature Center,” she said.

The exhibit will be on display with all works for purchase through January 19. Artists include: Donna Collins, Carol Conze, Cate M. Leach, Pam Lindberg, Jane Lubin, Mary Manning, Karen Neems, Ethel Renek, Lisa Thoren, Meg Tweedy, and Mary H. Whalen.

The Darien Nature Center is located at 120 Brookside Road in Cherry Lawn Park. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
