Together with Jack, Susan traveled to many corners of the world, photographing and visiting gardens wherever they went.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack and her son J. Barrett Faulkner.

She is survived by her daughter Sarah Faulkner of Canton, daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and David Callahan of Darien, two grandchildren, Tiki Leff of Chicago and Joshua Leff of Brooklyn, N.Y., and sisters Jeanne Ott Saunders of Weston, Mass. and Barbara Ott Kautz of Cincinnati, Ohio.

A memorial service celebrating Susan’s life will be held in late April at the First Congregational Church of Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Garden Conservancy.
