Registration for Darien Summer School and Enrichment’s 2021 season has begun, with most classes held in-person and a few with choices for learning in-person or on-line.

Families can choose in-person or virtual learning, as indicated by the title of each class on the website.

DSS, a program of Darien Public Schools, will continue to offer popular programs such as Musical Theater Workshop, football camps, Sports & Art Camp, and Summer PALS along with exciting new camps.  

The the program will run from June 28 to July 30, with Monday, July 5 off in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

With over 200 options for participants ages 3 to 18, every kid can explore a new path with DSS this summer.

New This Year: Teen Teaching

A new DSS program for 2021, Teen Teachers, provides high school and college students the opportunity to share their passions and interests with younger students.

Each class or camp will be designed and led by the Teen Teacher and there will be a Darien Public Schools staff member in attendance at each class as well.

Teen Teacher classes for this summer include Abstract Expressionism, Arduino 101 (coding and circuits), Creative Storytelling Workshop, Fundamentals of Debate, and Model Government.
