The Darien Community Association (DCA) is offering three bridge classes starting in January.

Prepayment for the Bridge 3 and Bridge 7 classes is required by noon on Friday, Jan. 3; and for Beginning Bridge classes, by noon on Jan. 17. For each of the three classes, minimum/maximum enrollment applies.
Registration

- Classes are held at the DCA at 274 Middlesex Road in Darien.
Beginning Bridge Classes
This is the perfect class for anyone who wants to learn bridge. Absolutely no prior experience required. We will cover the basics of the game and will concentrate on basic bidding and how to play the hand. Instructor: Meredith Dunne
Beginning Bridge will be on six Thursdays: Jan. 23, 30 and Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Course fees are $210, or $180 for DCA members.
Prepayment is required by noon on Friday, Jan. 17.

This class picks up where Bridge 2 class left off. We will cover basic play of the hand and an introduction to some basic bridge conventions. Instructor: Joan Bergen
Bridge 3 will be on six Wednesdays: Jan. 8, 15 and Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26, from 9:00am – 11:00am. Course fees are $210, or $180 for DCA members.
Prepayment is required by noon on Friday, Jan. 3.
Bridge 7 Classes
This class picks up where Bridge 6 class left off. Continued discussion of basic conventions, declarer play and defense. Basic bidding and a good understanding of the game is required. Instructor: Joan Bergen
Bridge 7 will be on six Tuesdays: Jan. 7, 14 and Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Course fees are $210, or $180 for DCA members.
