The Darien Community Association Women’s Luncheons will feature “Active Travel Adventures” featuring Backroads for their luncheon on Tuesday, March 5 at 12:15 p.m. at the DCA.
Come learn about this unique travel trend that takes you hiking and biking all over the globe while combining cultural encounters, exceptional cuisine and destination hotels into unique itineraries.

Heidi Sheldon has been traveling actively since her first adventure with her husband in 1988 when they climbed Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey.
Now a regional sales manager for Backroads and a Darien resident, Heidi enjoys traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada, sharing her passion for active travel.
Whether history buff, photography enthusiast, spa devotee, or wine connoisseur, Backroads’ unique formula combines options and support so travelers of all ages are able to travel at their own pace and enjoy the outdoors on their own terms.
Men are welcome, too! Luncheon will be provided by Michael Joseph’s Catering.
