Man, 33, Charged with Violating Protective Order

Not only did a 33-year-old man violate a protective order by visiting the house where his estranged wife was working, he violated it 49 more times by texting her, Darien police said. Police gave this account (containing accusations not proven in court):
The man, a resident of Ludlow Street in the South End of Stamford, on Thursday, Oct. 1 showed up and knocked on a door of a house where his estranged wife baby sits. The owner of the home was there at 12:20 p.m. when the man came knocking. He gave the employer a $100 bill to give to his ex-girlfriend, who stayed away from the door.
