Police Get Report of Man Masturbating in Woodland Park

A Darien man told police he saw a man in an orange construction vest masturbating not far from the West Avenue entrance to Woodland Park at about noon on Monday, Oct. 3. The man notified police at about 7 p.m. about the incident. (The police report did not say why the complainant waited so long.)
The man told police he was walking his dog when he saw the man in the vest masturbating while holding a cell phone. The dog walker said he called out to the man, who appeared startled, apologized and walked away in the opposite direction.
