One Food-Serving Place in Darien Gets Lowest Rating in Latest Health Inspections

One food-serving establishment received the lowest rating (“C”), another received a middling rating (“B”) and six others got the best rating (“A”) in health inspection reports just released by the Darien Health Department. The eight inspections were done from Oct. 19 to 25. Fewer health inspections were done in recent weeks by the department because some inspectors were out and inspections of other types of businesses were taking place, Health Director David Knauf said. Restaurant and a Country Club Each Get Lowest Health Inspection Rating of ‘C’

Two places to eat in Darien received the lowest grade of “C” in health inspections, according to the most recently released reports from the town Health Department. In the nine reports released this week by the Health Department, five others received the top rating (“A”) and two more received “B” ratings.
