Maritime Aquarium Presents ‘Fish Tales’ Story Time for Kindergarteners and Pre-K

Fish Tales is an interactive story time for toddlers and parents/caregivers. Each week, we sing songs and rhymes, dance and read books with Aquarium Educators, and maybe even meet an animal ambassador! Young children and a parent or caregiver will be able to join us from home. The Maritime Aquarium is using Zoom to deliver virtual programming right to your home! In advance of the virtual program, please visit zoom.com or download the Zoom app to your mobile device.

‘Fish Tales’ for Toddlers, Kindergarteners: 45-Minute Online Maritime Aquarium Program

During this interactive story time, an Aquarium educator will lead young children and their parents/caregivers through songs, rhymes, dances, book readings and maybe even a visit with an animal ambassador. The program, part of an online series from the Maritime Aquarium during the COVID-19 pandemic, lasts 45 minutes and is a “Virtual Zoom Meeting.” On Monday, the program is being presented twice, first at 10 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.

Rather than charging a set fee for the event, the aquarium is suggesting a donation (the Maritime Aquarium is closed to visitors, so it isn’t getting revenue from tickets while some of its costs continue, so it appreciates any help it can get from the public). Please only register once for your entire family. To register, follow the links from this Web page on the aquarium website.

An Appeal from Aquarium President Jason Patlis
Although the Maritime Aquarium is currently closed to the public, we are still very much active behind the scenes. Our devoted staff continues to come to the aquarium each day, seven days a week, to provide the highest level of care to more than 6,000 animals, including our sea turtles, harbor seals, sharks, rays, jellies, meerkats, and 300 other species that are home with us.
