Man, 22, Apparently Falls from Darien Train Station Platform, Police Investigating Why

A 22-year-old man now hospitalized appears to have fallen from a platform on the northbound-travel side of Darien Railroad Station (the side nearest Dunkin Donuts) at about 12:30 a.m., Monday, Darien police said. Police gave this further information about the incident:

Police were called by someone reporting an unresponsive man. Police officers and crew members from Darien EMS-Post 53 treated the man at the scene, and he was later taken to Stamford Hospital, where he remains. The man was identified as a resident of Monroe. Police say he seems to have fallen from the train platform, landing on the exit drive where it meets the Post Road.
